清乾隆 白玉盌 「乾隆年製」刻款
The quality of the current bowl is outstanding, epitomising the highest quality workmanship at the Qianlong court. The four-character kaishu mark on the bowl is one that was reserved for the most prestigious pieces. For another Qianlong jade vessel inscribed with the same mark, see a 'dragon' vase of gu form from the Qing court collection, preserved in the Palace Museum, Beijing, illustrated in Jadeware II. The Complete Collection of Treasures of the Palace Museum, Shanghai, 2008, pg.157, no.118.
