Of globular form with a scroll handle and eagle spout, decorated in Augsburg, probably in the Seuter workshop, in gilding, a chinoiserie scene on a scrollwork bracket on each side, below a scrollwork border to the rim, the spout gilt and the handle embellished in gilding, the domed cover similarly decorated, with birds perched on branches, 12cm high,impressed .. inside footrim (typical minor wear to gilding) (2).
