CATALOGUE NOTE: This accomplished still life, previously given to Juriaen van Streek, was listed as attributed to Christiaen Striep by Fred
Meijer in 2006 who dated it between 1653 - 1657.1 Little is known of this artist aside from his registration as a citizen of Amsterdam in 1656, suggesting he may have served as an apprentice there.2
