Terracotta rhyton (vase for libations or drinking), Greek, South Italian, Apulian, Tarentine, Hellenistic, late 4th–early 3rd century B.C. H.: 6 1/8 in. (15.6 cm). Rogers Fund, 1906. Accession Number: 06.1021.258. © 2000–2012 The Metropolitan Museum of Art.  The head is that of an Italic variety of Maltese dog. Prado and Meadows Museum announce unprecedented partnership expansion
