Jun stoneware dish. The dish has dark red glaze on the interior and exterior, with bluish tone towards the base on the interior, shading to olive brown where the glaze runs thin on the rim. The base and the inside of the foot ring are unglazed.

Potters made ‘official’ Jun wares in Juntai, Yuxian, Henan province from about AD 1368 to1435. Table wares such as this Jun glazed dish are of this ‘official’ quality but do not bear numbers.
