The high-shouldered, tapering body is covered with a glaze of rich green color in contrast to the white interior. 8 7/8 in. (20 cm.) high, box - Estimate $50,000 - $70,000
Notes: A set of three monochrome jars of the same size and shape, with Kangxi marks, one with green glaze, one yellow and another aubergine, were sold at Christie's New York, 3 June 1993, lot 236. Another Kangxi-marked jar of this shape and color was sold in our Hong Kong rooms, 27 November 2007, lot 1712.
