Each is shown seated in dhyanasana, one with hands in dhyana mudra, the other with right hand in bhumisparsa mudra. Both are dressed in loose robes, with lotus-scroll incised borders, left open at the chest exposing a wan emblem. The hair is dressed in pointed curls surrounding an usnisa. Each is covered in a rich layer of gilding over a red lacquer ground. 19¾ and 20 in. (50.2 and 50.8 cm.) high (2). Estimate $80,000 - $120,000
