A Rare And Finely Carved Green-Overlay White Glass Snuff Bottle. Attributed To The Imperial Glassworks, Beijing, 1760-1820. Photo: Christie's Images Ltd 2012
The flattened, pear-shaped bottle is finely carved through the pale green glass on either side with a writhing chilong, one of which is shown biting its tail. The narrow sides are carved with masks suspending fixed rings. 2 5/16 in (5.8 cm.) high, coral stopper with vinyl collar - Estimate $5,000 - $7,000
