Cartier, 1926. Large Screen clock

Platinum, gold, carved white jade (dial), onyx (base and semi-circular hoops), coral, mother-of-pearl, rose-cut diamonds, red and black enamel. The dial, without glass, is of white jade carved with a Chinese scene in front and a landscape in back. Transmission axle masked by the dragon and the carved coral ball beneath the screen. The time is set by manually turning the hands; winding is done at the back of the base.
