painted to the exterior with a couple standing by the altar looking at an armoured figure riding on scrolling clouds aiming his sword towards two demons, all set amidst a rocky landscape, encircled at the rim with a band of foaming waves, the domed cover with a sage and his acolyte seated by the river banks.
