the deep sides rising from a short foot to a flared rim, brightly enamelled with a riverside landscape depicting figures within tiered pavilions amongst jagged mountains and shrubs, the foot with a keyfret band, the cover with matching decoration and accompanied by an inscription dated to jiaxu year (corresponding to 1754) and two seals, inscribed to the base with a six-character Qianlong seal mark in blue.
