Based on a bronze ding form, in the shape of a tripod, with a depressed globular body, cylindrical neck and horizontal lip, supported on three cabriole legs issuing from animal masks and applied around the exterior with a pair of freely modelled sinuous dragons in mutual pursuit of a flaming pearl, covered overall with a creamy-white slip and opaque glaze.
