The realistically modelled insect set with a cushion-shaped sapphire weighing 6.36 carats and an oval diamond of yellow color weighing 21.23 carats, the legs and eyes set with a total of 404 round diamonds altogether weighing 12.73 carats, mounted in 18 karat gold and platinum. Lot Sold: 205,000 USD
PROVENANCE: The spider token was found in Fairmont, West Virginia.
Accompanied by AGL report #CS37100 (duplicate) stating that the sapphire is of Kashmir origin; no gemological evidence of heat enhancement present.
