A Fine Early Creamware Tankard decorated in Underglaze Blue, England, circa 1765. The early creamware tankard of bell-form is decorated with a Chinoiserie landscape of buildings along a river bank with trees and plants to either side with birds flying in the sky. Brocade Robe; Vietnam, early 20th century

Brocade Robe; China, early 20th century.  Unofficial informal robe of a Vietnamese lady. Full length garment with front overflap closing on the right, fastened with five amber-colored round toggle buttons. The plain dark blue ground is brocaded with rows of Chinese characters, signifying happiness, longevity, luck and good fortune and they are interspersed with flowers, butterflies and bats. Embroidered Dragon Robe. China, 19th century.  Informal robe of a Chinese woman. Calf length garment of dark blue silk with front over-flap closing to the right. Fastened with four loop-and-ball toggle buttons made of corded silk. Square wide sleeves with no cuffs. Neck opening and hem with edgings of contrasting off-white silk. Anamese Stoneware, c 1480

Anamese Stoneware, c 1480.  A rare Anamese stoneware large dish made in Vietnam near the port of Hoi An durin g the 15th century.
