Emerald and diamond tiara, circa 1910 - Sotheby's
The upper tier of open work trellis design millegrain-set throughout with rose diamonds, and decorated with three flower head cluster motifs set with circular-cut diamonds, the lower tier of foliate and meander design, set with similarly-cut stones and centring on an octagonal emerald. Provenance: By family tradition it is understood that this tiara was worn at an official dinner given by Kaiser Wilhelm II by an ancestor of the present owner.
