the deep rounded sides rising from a short straight foot to an everted rim, finely painted in subtle shades of cobalt-blue with magpies perched on the branches of an old gnarled tree and in flight, the interior with a medallion enclosing a bird perched on a blossoming prunus branch, all within double line borders, apocryphal Chenghua mark in underglaze blue; Diameter 6 3/8 in., 16.1 cm - Estimation: 18,000 - 25,000 USD
