A blue and white 'Coin' dish, 17th century – Sotheby's
of shallow form with an everted rim, the central well painted with an image of a coin, with four characters in the center reading Fu gui chang chun (Fortune) within a square, and surrounded by a further four characters 'Hong wu tong bao'(for common use in Hongwu's reign), the rim with alternating symbols of coins, flowers within shaped panels and double rings, Japanese wood box (3).
