the steep sides rising to a gently everted rim, delicately incised with an anhuadesign of two dragons in pursuit of a flaming pearl amongst stylized flames, covered overall in an even white glaze, six-character mark in underglaze blue within a double circle.
Provenance: A gift to the current owner from Robert West, New York. Mr. West bequeathed the major part of his collection to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in the 1950s.
