the tapering ovoid body surmounted by a short neck, painted to the exterior with large lotus blooms borne on meandering leafy stems, the shoulder and the foot encircled by interlocking ruyi scroll bands, inscribed to the base with a six-character mark within a double-circle; 16cm., 6 3/8 in.
