Each suspending an cushion-shaped sapphire weighing 17.56 and 15.46 carats, within a pavé-set diamond surround, supported by two rectangular motifs set with baguette-cut and brilliant-cut diamonds, spaced by two brilliant-cut diamonds. Mounted in 18 karat white gold. Estimate US$1,100,000 - 1,350,000
Accompanied by Gübelin report numbered 1007518/1 and 1007518/2 dated 12 July 2010, stating that the 17.56 and 15.46 carat sapphires are natural, of Burmese (Myanmar) origin, with no indication of heating. Also accompanied by a SSEF report numbered 60787 dated 28 September 2011, stating that the 17.56 and 15.46 carat sapphires are natural, of Burmese (Myanmar) origin, Vivid Blue colour, with no indication of heating, with an appendix stating that the two natural sapphires possess extraordinary characteristics and merit a special mention and appreciation, 'Microscopic examination revealed inclusions, which represent the hallmarks of the reputed classical sapphires mines from Mogok valley in burmese (Myanmar). Its Vivid Blue colour is due to a combination of well-balanced trace elements in the stone, typical and characteristics for the finest sapphires of Mogok.'
