Raised on a tall foot with a double blue ring border, the rounded sides rise steeply towards a wide rim, the cavetto finely rendered with a mandarin duck descending towards a pond with its wings outstretched, the watery scene complete with several lotus flowers in shades of red-orange and peach, the mandarin duck and floral motif continuously repeated along the interior forming a border, the exterior sparsely decorated with lotus groups, diameter 6.5" - 16.5 cm., six-character Chenghua Mark. Small restored glaze chip on underside of rim at 3 o'clock. No other condition problems noted. Estimated Price: CAD8,000 - CAD12,000
