Composed of fifty-eight graduating oval-shaped rubies, each decorated and spaced by a cluster of pear-shaped diamonds. 58 rubies and 232 diamonds together weighing approximately 80.83 and 66.90 carats respectively. Mounted in platinum. Length approximately 43.8cm. Estimate US$580,000 - 710,000
Accompanied by GRS report GRS2013-034123 (Award No. 910) dated 03 April 2013, stating that the 58 rubies are natural, of Burmese (Mogok, Myanmar) origin, Vivid Red colour (GRS type "pigeon's blood" ), with no indication of thermal treatment. Also, accompanied by GRS appendix to Platinum Award No. 910, stating that "A rare set of Burmese rubies, graduating in size (ranging from 2.40 carat to over 1 carat, total 4 rubies over 2 carat), with fine colour (GRS type "pigeon's blood") and good clarity. Fine quality unheated rubies from Mogok are scarce." Further accompanied by Gübelin report numbered 12097098/1 to 58 dated 19 September 2012, stating that the 58 rubies are natural, of Burmese (Myanmar) origin, with no indication of heating. Also accompanied by a Gübelin appendix stating that the rubies of the necklace possess the properties of rubies from Mogok.
