Centring on an octagonal-shaped emerald weighing approximately 17.00 carats, flanked by two trapeze-shaped step-cut diamonds together weighing 1.85 carats. Mounted in 18 karat white gold. Ring size: 6 1/2. Estimate US$650,000 - 900,000

Accompanied by Gübelin report numbered 11050027 dated 10 May 2011, stating that the 17.00 carat emerald is natural, of Columbian origin, with no indication of clarity enhancement. Also, accompanied by an American Gemological Laboratories report numbered CS44488 dated 13 April 2011, stating that the 17.00 carat emerald is natural, of Columbian origin, with no indication of clarity enhancement, with an appendix stating that the combination of size, origin and quality elements signifies a gem worthy of distinction, 'this gemstone exhibits a very fine, saturated, slightly bluish green colour that is reminiscent of high-quality emeralds from the Muzo mining area...Fine quality Columbian emerald of 17 carats are very rare. This combination of quality factors absence of clarity enhancement, large size and origin determination represents a particularly fine example of a Columbian emerald.'
