Comprising ten libation cups variously carved in high relief with immortals, often depicting Shoulao accompanied by a boy attendant or deer relaxing and engaging in leisurely activities under pine or bamboo trees, accompanied by a compartmentalized wood carrying case. Height: 1 7/8 inches (4.8 cm) each approximately. Estimate: $30,000/50,000. Sold $29,500.00
Provenance: Portola Valley private collection, and reputedly purchased in 1955.
