An ancient Roman bronze AE3 coin of Caesar Crispus, (Flavius Julius Crispus) eldest son of Constantine the Great, struck 317 - 326 A.D. Minted in Trier, Germany.
The obverse depicts a fabulous portrait of Crispus wearing laurel wreath. The legend reads: IVL[ivs] CRISPVS NOB[ilis] C[aesar] - "Julius Crispus, Noble Caesar"
The reverse shows laurel wreath with the legend: CAESARVM NOSTRORVM VOT X - "Because of the vows to our caesar, another 10 years [of rule]".
Trier mint mark in exergue. Diameter: 19 mm. Weight: 2.30 g.
