Platinum, 18 kt., centering one oblong carved jade approximately 49.0 x 9.4 mm., flanked by circular scalloped discs outlined in black enamel, set with 42 single-cut diamonds, with French assay mark, #35248, circa 1920,enamel loss, approximately 6 dwt. With original fitted box. Jade: deep mottled green, darker than photo, not apple green as in photo, opaque, several hairline cracks on top and bottom, difficult to tell if gone all the way through, Diamonds: I-J-VS, one diamond chipped. More enamel loss on one side more than the other. Box signed A.H. Naguib, Paris - Caire. 5/8 x 2 1/2". Estimate $2,000-3,000 - Sold for $2,188
