Lot 33. A fine silver circular box and cover, Tang dynasty. Diameter 1 7/8  in., 4.8 cm. Estimate 20,000 - 30,000 USD. Lot sold 25,000 USD. Photo Sotheby's

decorated and gilt in raised relief on each side with a dove encircled by three smaller birds perched on a flowering scroll, reserved on a ring punched ground, the upright sides encircled by detached floral sprigs (2).
