he rounded sides rising from a short, slightly flared foot to an everted lipped rim, freely painted on the exterior with five stylized leaf sprays, in dark brown over a white slip beneath a colorless glaze, extending over the rim into the interior and stopping short of the foot revealing the pale gray ware.
