the silk ground woven with auspicious objects amidst clouds, embroidered in satin stitch with eight flower basket roundels interspersed with sprigs of wisteria, prunus, orchids and bamboo, the neck opening surrounded by a ruyi-cloud collar, embroidered with figures in a procession within a garden setting, the side opening and hem similarly embroidered, the sleeve bands worked in knotted stitch with a design of fruit and flowers in vessels, all edged with ribbon and blue piping.
