A blue and white meiping vase decorated with the 三多 sanduo, the "three abundances" also known as the "three plenties" comprising the peach, pomegranate and in this case likely the young 'winter melon' . Above the base of the vase is a double line border and a pendant plantain leaf border. On the shoulder within lappets a further fan shaped plantain arrangement framed by double line borders, a further double line border encircles the mouth. The unglazed base with a counter sunk disc bears no mark and remnants of a brown dressing are evident. Height: 6 9/16 " (16.7 cm). Price on request
