A blue and white meiping vase with trailing Indian lotus and tendril decor. Above the base of the vase is a plantain leaf border and on the shoulder a dentil pattern encircles four petaled ruyi flowers beneath a key fret design on the short wasted neck rising to a lipped rim. The unglazed base with a counter sunk disc (bi foot) bearing the six character kaishu mark and period of Kangxi in underglaze blue beneath a clear glaze. Height: 11 3/4 " (29.8 cm). Price on request
