The necklace composed of twenty graduated oval and cushion-shaped rubies, framed by pear-shaped diamonds, embellished by pear- and cushion-shaped rubies, the rubies together weighing 60.63 carats, length approximately 395mm; and pair of matching earrings, each weighing 2.16 and 2.08 carats respectively; the diamonds altogether weighing approximately 75.49 carats, mounted in 18 karat white gold. Accompanied by SSEF report numbered 68991 and twenty-four Gübelin reports, stating that the rubies are natural, of Burmese (Myanmar) origin, with no indications of heating. As stated by Gübelin, the rubies in earrings, the centre row of the necklace and some of the smaller rubies may also be called "pigeon's blood red" in the trade. Further accompanied by SSEF appendix letter stating that 'to assemble a matching selection of natural rubies from Burma of this quality is rare and exceptional."
