delicately thrown with translucent sides rising from a small foot to a gently everted rim, set with a pair of ear-shaped handles connected to the cup by a small strut, the exterior finely incised with a narrow band enclosing two pairs of confronting archaistic dragons flanking a central pearl, applied overall with a transparent ochre-yellow glaze pooling to an amber tone around the foot, the interior left white, the base inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character reign mark written in two columns within double circles; diameter 6 cm., 2 3/8 in.
