the globular body rising from a short foot to a lipped rim, the exterior decorated with two sinuous dragons pacing amidst flame wisps, beribboned ruyi sceptre, flaming wheel and Artemisia leaf, contesting a flaming pearl, the base inscribed with an apocryphal Xuande mark
