Designed as a series of cabochon rubies within a surround of brilliant-cut diamonds, each cluster connected by pairs of brilliant-cut diamonds and a single cabochon ruby, the articulated back chain and clasp set with similarly cut diamonds and rubies, diamonds approximately 33.50 carats total, rubies approximately 160.00 carats total, signed V.C.A., numbered, length 45.7cm. Estimate: HK$ 1.6 million - 2.4 million (€150,000 - 220,000) ($210,000 – $310,000)
Accompanied by a GIA report stating that the 19.58 carat natural ruby has no indications of heat treatment and originates from Burma (Myanmar). Report number 2145013508, dated 14 November 2011.
Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Van Cleef and Arpels, dated 18 February 2013.
