the globular body rising from a spreading foot to a waisted neck, set with a loop handle, the body brightly painted with a kneeling attendant offering an official’s hat to a dignitary surrounded by further attendants and soldiers, all between a floral scroll and lappet band, the foot encircled by wavy lappets, the neck and the handle decorated with stylised floral sprays, the neck reduced and mounted with an engraved silver rim; 35.2cm., 13 7/8 in. Estimation 6,000 - 8,000 GBP
