The interior moulded with two fish swimming within incised double circles in the well, the exterior moulded with thick petals beneath the lipped rim, all covered with a rich green glaze, pooling attractively in the recesses.
This type of 'double-fish' dish was produced in the Longquan kilns from the Southern Song to the early Ming Dynasty period.
