Luxuriously covered in a rich egg-yolk-yellow glaze, the base with a six-character Imperial kaishu mark in underglaze-blue within double circles. 22.2cm diam. Estimate HK$ 650,000 - 750,000 (€62,000 - 72,000)

Compare a similar but larger Imperial yellow-glazed dish with incised mark and a yellow-glazed bowl dated to the Jiajing period in the Qing court collection, Palace Museum, Beijing, illustrated in Monochrome Porcelain.
