The detachable carved jade pendant in the form of a gourd, suspended from two cabochon rubies to the onyx rondelles and rose-cut diamond detail, surmounted by a jade bar brooch with black enamel and cabochon ruby terminals, circa 1925, detachable pendant 5.0cm long, brooch 11.0cm long, with French assay marks for platinum and gold; Signed Cartier Paris, no. 08303 (indistinct), with workshop mark HD for Droguet. Estimate £20,000 - £30,000 ($32,700 - $49,050). Price Realized £67,250 ($110,357).

Centering upon a carved jadeite coin of rich emerald green colour and glassy translucency, to the cabochon ruby surmount, enhanced by rectangular-shaped diamond and ruby detail, mounted in white and yellow gold, coin diameter approximately 24.8 mm, thickness approximately 1.4 mm, 3.6 cm long. Estimate HK$240,000 - HK$350,000 ($31,065 - $45,304). Price Realized HK$300,000 ($38,831)

Accompanied by report no. 08122 from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory, dated 5th July 2013, stating that the jade was found to be natural with no evidence of treatment.
