Of compressed globular form, the mostly flat shoulder has a sharp edge, tapering suddenly to the foot ring, the handle with similar accented round and sharp ear form, the spout curves slightly upwards, the finial in the form of a bridge, the shoulder carved with two lines of Chinese calligraphy. The lid with two character mark "Xin Zhou", the handle with an illegible mark, the bottom with four character "Ri Ling Shan Fang" mark. Dimensions: W: 7 in (17.8 cm) H: 3 1/4 in (8.3 cm). He Xinzhou's official store mark is Man Tuo Hua Guan. Ri Ling Shan Fang is Mei Diaoding's store, also known as the famous Yuchengyao Qiln, located in Ningbo, Zhejiang.
