Of cusped rounded form, the surface decorated with pearls and emeralds with a central rosette surrounded by straight and cusped bands, and bands of small quatrefoils alternated with crescents, the edge with a series of small pearls strung within simple gold loops, the reverse decorated with polychrome enamels with a central roundel containing an iris spray and two addorsed birds, around this a band of small floral sprays, later minor repairs and a simple later pin affixed to the reverse; 1¾in. (4.5cm.) across. Estimate £1,500 – £2,000
