of rectangular section, the lowest shelf of full length skirted by a plain apron on all four sides, joined to four legs rising up through the shelf to form the open framework of the stand, further connected to a second pair of vertical struts securing a lower half shelf and a full-length middle shelf, the top shelf of half length terminating on one side in archaistic scroll ends, the members all of square section with a slightly rounded outer edge.
