Of intricate 18 karat gold basket weave design, the hinged clasp set with a marquise-cut diamond, weighing 1.12 carats, within a surround of baguette and brilliant-cut diamonds with fluted detail, opening to reveal a mirrored interior consisting of several glazed compartments, a hair comb and a lipstick holder, signed Cartier London, maker's mark J.C., London hallmark, length 18.5cm, fitted leather case by Cartier. Estimate HK$ 310,000 - 400,000 (€29,000 - 37,000)
Accompanied by a GIA report stating that the 1.12 carat diamond is G colour and SI1 clarity. Report number 6175093993 , dated 20 March 2014.
