the broad-shouldered baluster body rising from a flat base to a short waisted neck with everted rolled rim, brightly glazed in blue, ochre, green and cream glazes with panels of cream and ochre florets reserved on a green ground divided by narrow ochre and blue bands, the glaze falling short of the foot to reveal the pinkish-buff body, the domed cover with cream and ochre splashes on a green ground and surmounted by a lotus bud finial.
Provenance: A Tokyo Collection, acquired in Japan prior to the 1980s.
