standing four-square on a rectangular base with the head raised and held slightly to the left, the saddle glazed green over a mottled ochre, cream and green saddle blanket, with ochre-glazed foliate-shaped plaques suspended from the halter, breast and crupper straps, the body glazed in a light green with the mane and tail in cream, the base unglazed, wood stand.
Provenance: A Tokyo Collection, acquired in Japan prior to the 1980s.
