the shallow rounded sides rising from a tapered foot to an everted rim, finely painted to the interior with a bearded scholar holding a staff and supported by a young attendant carrying a fan, all amongst a garden with shrubs issuing from jagged rocks, the rim encircled by iron-red floral blooms and insects, inscribed to the base with a six-character reign mark within a double-circle - 15.3cm., 6in. Estimation 20,000 — 30,000 GBP
