The jardinière has deep rounded sides and a lipped rim. It is decorated on the exterior with a large sampan in a continuous mountainous and tree-lined riverscape scene, flanked by an impressive tiered pavilion within a walled fortress beside a tall pagoda. 22 ? in. (56.2 cm.) wide. Estimate £12,000 – £18,000 ($20,148 - $30,222)
