Silver. Curved circular foot with beaten flower and fruit relief. Above the foliage strong knop with corresponding decor. The cup-shaped cuppa with continous acanthus relief in the lower area. Ca. 302 g. Height 17 cm.
Inspection mark Amsterdam with year letter S for 1680 (Voet, Amsterdam, p.117), maker's mark SZ (attributed to Sigismund Zschammer, 1661-1693, ib. no.113). Condition B/C. Estimate(s): 2,000 - 3,000 €

A plate by Sigismund Zschammers, which is situated in the collection of the Metropolitan Museums of Art in New York, shows comparable tendril decor (inv.-no. 46.33.13).
