each thick plaque deeply carved with scholars engaging in leisurely pursuits and banner carrying attendants amid a lush mountainous landscapes dotted with pine and paulownia trees, the reverse with floral shrubs accompanied by a gilded inscription commemorating the birthday of the Qianlong Emperor (AD 1736-1795), the stone of deep, rich green colour with some sparse fine black speckling, on cloisonné stands, 27.5cm high. Estimate £4,000-6,000
