The square-form vase has a short neck rising to a circular mouth and is raised on a splayed foot ring. The sides are moulded with the Eight Daoist Trigrams, ba gua, The vessel is covered overall in a thick crackled ge-type glaze. 10 ? in. (27.7 cm.) high. Estimate £10,000 – £15,000 ($16,810 - $25,215)

Notes: The shape of this vase imitates the form of an archaic jade cong with a circular core and square sides.
